Group goals, not personal scores
The Participation Board visualises collective effort. The whole team contributes to one shared goal, displayed as a growing plant or progress circle that everyone can support.
Supportive design instead of pressure
The board avoids the patterns commonly seen in fitness apps. Nothing is broadcast individually, no notifications encourage people to overdo it and there are no streaks or penalty lights when a colleague is unavailable.
Anonymous totals
Contributions are added to a single shared total. No individual minute counts, no public profiles, no personal benchmarks.
Gentle visuals
The board uses calming progress visuals such as a growing plant or a slowly filling circle, with no flashy alerts or red bars.
Rolling targets
Goals automatically carry over to the following week, so a busy stretch never resets the team's collective effort to zero.
Choose a friendly storyline for the week
Coordinators pick from a small set of neutral, story-style goals. Each one frames movement as a shared journey rather than a measurement of effort, and the storylines are easy to swap if the team prefers something else.
- 1Walk the floor to a nearby park together.
- 2Combine stretching minutes into a virtual walk along the coastline.
- 3Plant a virtual tree once the office reaches a small movement total.
- 4Build a slow group rhythm of three sessions per week, indefinitely.
